Teleman

Teleman is a British indie pop group that forms in Reading in 2012 and remains active. The group includes Tom Sanders, Hiro Ama, Pete Catt and Jonny Sanders. Its music is associated with indie rock, post-punk revival and synth-pop.

Background

Teleman forms after the split of Pete and the Pirates in 2012. Tom Sanders, Pete Cattermoul and Hiro Amamiya all play in that earlier band, and the Sanders brothers are part of the line-up. Tom Sanders handles vocals and guitar, while Pete Cattermoul plays bass and synths and Hiro Amamiya plays drums. Jonny Sanders plays synths from the band’s start and leaves in 2020.
