Idles

Idles are a post-punk band from Bristol, United Kingdom. The group forms in 2009 and remains active, with Joe Talbot, Mark Bowen, Adam Devonshire, Lee Kiernan and Jon Beavis as members.

Early releases and recognition

The band’s debut EP, Welcome, brings them early attention and leads BBC Introducing in the Southwest to name them “Band of The Year” in 2012. After a break, they return in 2015 with MEAT EP and META EP.

Later recordings

In 2016, Idles release Divide & Conquer and Well Done. Their debut album, Brutalism, follows and is supported by a UK tour.
