The Great North Folk Festival
Festival on the Moor’s May Bank Holiday Weekend event will again take place in the magical Botton Village, near Danby. Botton is in the Esk Valley and is at the heart of the North York Moors National Park.
Events will take place in the beautiful Botton Steiner School, Coffee Bar, Community Room and the simply stunning Joan of Arc Hall.
Indoor venues, camping and camping barns on site. A small and friendly festival – join them and relax in beautiful surroundings with a great programme of artists and events.
In addition to the musical side of things the 2015 Fesitval on the Moor offers up plenty of family friendly entertainment with ceilidh, arts and crafts, workshops, children’s entertainment and historic reenactors. Festival food and real ale can be enjoyed throughout and the festival is known for its friendly village atmosphere.
