The Fling Festival is a classic summer amusements festival which brings together live music, cabaret, curiosities and more. It is a one-day celebration organised for 2nd July 2016 and it is a festival just for adults. It is taking place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

There will be a line-up which brings together great examples of local art and music as well as established acts. Acts confirmed so far include: from Turin Brakes, plus Paolo Morena, The Midnight Barbers, Stealing Signs, Middle Age Spread, Silent Disco, Rum Honey, Salvation Jayne, The Sharpees, Jamie Williams & The Roots Collective, Katie Bradley, Delta Ladies, Joe Anderton, Happnin Boy & Harmonica Mike, Ouse Valley Singles Club, The Kubricks, Primo Nelson, Stretch Soul Gang, The Lemoncurd Kids, and October Glow. There will also be hundreds of comedy, cabaret and side-show performances to look out for.
