About Tenement Trail Festival

Across 10 hours on 10 October, Tenement Trail Festival 2026 runs in Glasgow’s East End as a one-day multi-venue music festival spanning indie, alternative, punk, folk, pop, hip hop and dance.

The first Tenement Trail took place on Sauchiehall Street in 2013. It moved into Glasgow’s East End in 2019, and 2024 marked its 10th edition.

Lineup and Programme

Announced acts include Baby Strange and Brògeal. Baby Strange’s 2026 co-headline slot is framed as a full-circle 10th-anniversary return, after a surprise last-minute set in 2018.

The bill ranges across indie, alternative, punk, folk, pop, hip hop and dance. More than 50 artists are set across eight venues.

The route takes in The Barrowland Ballroom, Barrowland 2, Barras Art and Design (BAaD), St Luke’s, The Winged Ox, 226 Gallowgate, Van Winkles and McChuill’s.

Alongside live sets, the programme covers venue-hopping, emerging-artist discovery, eating and drinking between bands, plus free industry panel and networking events at The Gate.

Who Is It For?

The audience leans toward emerging grassroots music, especially indie and alternative listeners, with a strong venue-hopping live-music crowd.

No persons under 14 are permitted. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

The Venue and Site

The Barrowland area forms the spine of the site, with the bill spread through established East End rooms rather than a single arena. One ticket covers all eight venues.

BAaD’s Backyard handles the TT box office and wristband exchange. Bars open in venues from 1pm, with pop-up food options around the Barrowland area, The Winged Ox bar and kitchen at St Luke’s, and food and drink spaces at BAaD.

There is no camping. Tenement Trail is a one-day Glasgow city festival.
