Edition 10 puts Ocean Film Festival World Tour 2026 at Union Chapel, London for an arts programme built around documentary, adventure, watersports, marine conservation and nature films.

The tour has been sharing its show with UK audiences since 2014. Over the last 10 years, it says it has reached more than 325,000 audience members in 14 countries and raised over £20,000 for ocean charities.

The format is compact. In 2024, the tour partnered with the Marine Conservation Society and the National Oceanography Centre.

Lineup and Programme

Announced titles include The Raftsmen, Stone Biter: Saving the Arctic Sea Forests, Granny Grommets, Tides of Life, Ride of a Lifetime and The Kelp Collector.

The running order is a curated set of short ocean films. Screenings include pre-show drinks or snacks, an interval and a live prize draw.

Who Is It For?

The audience skews toward ocean enthusiasts, watersports fans and people interested in marine conservation and ocean adventure.

It is broadly family-friendly. Screenings are generally 12A; under-12s may attend with a responsible adult, while Union Chapel requires under-16s to be accompanied by an adult and does not permit under-18s in the bar.

The Venue and Site

Union Chapel, the Grade I listed Islington venue, is a fully seated room with a capacity of 900.

For this event, seating is unreserved. The bar and kiosk are card-only, free water refill stations are available, and the venue has accessible toilets, wheelchair ramps and a platform lift to the upstairs bar.

There is no camping. Margins Cafe takes pre-show dinner reservations, and the cloak room charges £2 per item by card.
