Welcome to the 2016 Stroud Folk Weekend on from 23rd-25th Sept. 

This event replaces the Stroud Folk Festival, which ran from 2013 to 2015.  The change of name marks a change in the direction of the event, which emphasizes participation in free events from musicians, singers and dancers from Stroud and surrounding areas rather than ticketed concerts. 

The committee welcomes the participation of venues in Stroud such as The Subscription Rooms, Lansdown Hall, The Ale House and Café Meme who are hosting their own concerts as well.

Expect a host of entertainment with music,arts,dance,morris,talks and more across the weekend.
