Stompin' on the Quomps
Stompin’ on the Quomps, the hugely popular smooth jazz festival in Christchurch, is proud to announce headline band Lola’s Day Off.
Packing a wicked punch, Lola’s Day Off stormed the nation with a sonic cocktail of fusion, rhythm & blues, hip-hop, jazz, and deep funk grooves. Featuring Pete Ray Biggin on drums, Moyses Dos Santos on bass, Carl Hudson on keyboards and James Gardiner-Bateman on saxes, collectively they have performed and toured with mega-acts including Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Whitney Houston, Chaka Kahn, Level 42, Joss Stone, Robbie Williams, Professor Green, Adele and Culture Club, to name a few.
Joining the band will be Australian born vocalist Georgia van Etten, described by Show Media as a superstar in the making. Her refreshing creativity and rich vocal tones have wowed audiences across the globe.
