Stepping Stones Festival is the brainchild of Maddy Prior, who is also performing at the festival, takes place at the ruins of Kirklinton Hall near the Scottish Borders, an atmospheric venue for all kinds of fantastic folk and roots music. The festival is taking place from 10th until 12th June and many of the acts have already been announced.
The line-up of the Stepping Stones Festival includes: Steeleye Span, Show Of Hands, Everything Everything, The Baghdaddies, Jig Doll, Moulettes, Maddy Prior, Hannah James and Giles Lewin, Red Ruff, Hefted, Bridie Jackson & The Arbour, Project Ham Sandwich, Wild Men Of Baroque, with more to be announced.
There is also a full kids programme planned to keep the little ones busy and open-mic sessions to ensure you can get in on the musical action if you fancy it.
