Priston Festival is a charitable society and was formed by a group of local people in 2008 in order to create a regular annual festival which would allow us to celebrate local music and artistic talent - hence their slogan "Live 'N' Local"! It was registered as a charity in August 2011 (Reg. no. 1143394).
It stages an event which has a broad range of music at various venues across the village of Priston near Bath, Somerset - previous festivals have included folk, jazz, blues, rock, choral and classical music. The festival also provides singing and dancing workshops, film, and literary events as well as children's art projects.
