Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott @ Stockport County FC

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are going to be performing at Stockport County FC's Edgeley Park in support of Paul Heaton's The Last King of Pop best-of album. The pair, who worked together in the Beautiful South, will be doing a set that includes the biggest hits from the Beautiful South along with some of his solo stuff and his stuff from the Housemartins too. This looks set to be a magical gig that you won't want to miss if you want quirky, well-written and quite funny, if a little sad at times, pop music.
