The Festival is an event for all the family which celebrates traditional and contemporary Scottish, Irish and Pan Celtic music. It has a great mix of free outdoor events, concerts, ceilidh’s, music sessions, workshops, children’s entertainment, heritage trail walks, and parades in large venues to intimate halls. Past bands to appear at the MOK Fest are The Fratellis, The View, The Time Frequency (TTF), The Saw Doctors, Deacon Blue, Capercaillie, Idlewild, Ally Bain & Phil Cunningham, Red Hot Chilli Pipers and the Stranglers. If you fancy an adventure and good music in this is the event for you.
The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival is an event for all the family which celebrates traditional and contemporary Scottish, Irish and Pan Celtic music. Based in Campbeltown, the event has a great mix of free outdoor events, concerts, ceilidh’s, music sessions, workshops, children’s entertainment, heritage trail walks, and parades in large venues to intimate halls.
This years bands include The Time Frequency (TTF), Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, Grouse Ceilidh Band, Kim Carnie & Innes White and Eddie Seaman & Luc McNally.
The open air events include Carnie West (Festival Parade) + various free open air concerts across the town on the Sat & Sun of the event.
There are 7 ticketed events across the Festival which cater for all ages and genres of music. We also run a Festival Club on the Sat afternoon where local and visiting musicians perform for free.
