About Kelburn Garden Party
Kelburn Garden Party 2027 returns to Kelburn Castle, Largs, Scotland, with a music bill rooted in electronica, techno, jungle, drum’n’bass, house and electro.
It began in 2009. The official site lists about 4,500 tickets and says the festival sold out for the past four years.
Lineup and Programme
The programme is built around live music and DJ sets rather than a single main arena. Twelve areas are named.
Genres listed by the festival run from jazz, folk, hip-hop and funk to dub, disco, psychedelic rock, post-punk and avant-garde pop, alongside reggae, blues and world sounds.

Workshops, cabaret, theatre, art installations, the Neverending Glen, glen walks and waterfall plunge pools sit around the performance areas.
Who Is It For?
Kelburn Garden Party draws a mixed-age music-and-arts crowd and is listed as family-friendly by the festival.
Children’s activity areas, supervised play spaces and family performances are part of the site plan. Under-fives are free.
Children may attend only with a responsible adult guardian; under-13s must be accompanied at all times, and under-18s need adult supervision in the arena after 9pm. The festival operates Challenge 25 for alcohol sales.
The Venue and Site
A painted 13th-century castle anchors the site.
Kelburn Castle sits near Largs on Scotland’s west coast, with the festival spread through the surrounding grounds and glen. Weekend tickets include camping.
Facilities listed include general camping, family/quiet camping, live-in vehicle plots, hot showers and luxury loos, plus 24-hour welfare, first aid and security. Cashless bars and food traders are listed for the site.
