Farmer Phil's Festival

Farmer Phil's Festival logo
Near Gatten Farm, Shropshire

Originally started in 1998 Farmer Phil’s Festival has developed considerably over the years. In 1998 it was nothing more than a simple marquee and beer served off the back of a 40-foot flatbed trailer. The festival is planned in the scenic surroundings of the South Shropshire Hills and it’s a safe and friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy the wide range of folk and family friendly music.

The festival incorporates art and comedy stage as well as one for music and takes place over a weekend in August. It caters for 2000 people and the modern day festival has more than a simple truck serving beer, with licensed bars, stalls, merchandise tents and food and drink venues too.

Former acts to grace the stage have included everyone from Dreadzone to The Electric Swing Circus and HMV Band to Tako Lako.
