The sold-out 2025 first run sets the frame for Dornoch Music & Beer Festival 2027 at Meadows Park, Dornoch, IV25 3SF, a Highland music festival built around country, folk, pop, rock and indie. Historylinks files that first edition as the Inaugural Beer and Music Festival 2025. It drew 2,000 people.

The 2026 expansion moved the event to two days with a larger stage and a 4,000-per-day capacity. VisitScotland lists the 2027 edition in July, with event dates of 16-17 July 2027.

Who Is It For?

The audience is listed as family-friendly, mixing live-music fans, local residents and visitors. Under-18s need a responsible adult with them.

Entry is restricted to 16+ unless accompanied by an adult, and bar access is restricted to 18+. The children's zone includes face painting, balloon entertainment, an inflatable zone and fun fair rides.

The Venue and Site

Meadows Park gives the festival its Dornoch base, close to the Highland seaside setting listed for the event. Payments use tokens.

Facilities listed for the site include a beer tent with local craft drinks, food stalls, family areas and covered areas for bad weather.

Dornoch sits in the Highlands, within an hour's drive of Inverness. Aberdeen is about three hours by road, while Edinburgh and Glasgow are within four hours' drive. Tain is closest.

• Rail: Tain station is 9 miles south of Dornoch; Golspie station is 11 miles north.
• Road: The A9 trunk road runs about 2 miles from Dornoch, with the A949 into town and the B9168 on Poles Road.
• Parking: Daytime parking is listed at Meadows Park, Dornoch South Pay & Display and the Beach Road overflow car park.
• Coaches: Dornoch South on Shore Road has two lanes for up to five coaches.
