About Bristol Sounds
Canons Marsh Amphitheatre puts the stage on Bristol Harbourside rather than in a field. The Bristol Sounds 2027 date is Friday 25 June, a live outdoor music event at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre, Canons Way, BS1 5LL. The harbourside series began in 2014 and marked its 10th anniversary in 2024.
Capacity is 10,000. Bristol Sounds works as a summer concert series across drum & bass, pop, reggae, ska and rock, with the 2027 show centred on drum & bass.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include Roni Size Reprazent, appearing for New Forms 30th Anniversary, with special guests Fabio & Grooverider. The confirmed show sits in drum & bass, while Bristol Sounds also covers pop, reggae, ska and rock across the wider series.
The programme is built around live outdoor concerts. Food and drink come from on-site vendors, with accessible viewing areas and hospitality packages also part of the site.
Who Is It For?
The age policy points to older children, teens and adults rather than very young family groups. Entry is 5+, under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over, and each adult can accompany a maximum of three under-16s. Under-5s are not permitted.
It is a broad live-music crowd. The genre spread keeps the series away from a single scene, with drum & bass sitting alongside pop, reggae, ska and rock.
The Venue and Site
Canons Marsh Amphitheatre is an open-air harbourside arena on Canons Way. It is a standing outdoor site. The setup includes accessibility provisions, an accessible area with seating and a viewing platform, plus hospitality/VIP lounge and bar options.
Facilities include toilets, bars and food outlets, water refill points and first aid. A large underground car park sits next to the concert site, including disabled spaces.
