Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2027 runs at Belladrum Estate near Beauly, Inverness-shire, as a multi-genre music festival covering rock, folk, indie, pop, electronic and more. The 2027 edition runs from Thursday 29 July to Saturday 31 July 2027, and the 2027 theme is still to be announced.

2004 was the festival’s first year, established by farmer and music lover Joe Gibbs. It expanded from one day to two days in 2010, became a three-day festival in 2015, and now operates at a final capacity of 25,000 attendees per day.

Lineup and Programme

14 unique stages are listed for Belladrum, including Hot House Main Stage, Garden Stage, Grassroots Stage, Seedlings Stage, Venus Fly Trap, Burke & Hare Stage, Trailer Trash, The Potting Shed Stage, Bella Bar Stage, Tomatin Bothy, Ice House Stage, Verb Garden Picture Dome and Free Range Acoustic Stage.

The programme spans rock, folk, indie, pop, electronic, country, jazz, blues, roots and acoustic music. Confirmed activity areas also include comedy, cabaret, dance, drag, wrestling, family entertainment, spoken word, talks, readings and film programming. Seedlings Stage is a platform for emerging artists and has hosted early appearances by Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender and Twin Atlantic.

Who Is It For?

All ages are welcome at Belladrum, from babes in arms to great-great grandparents. Under-18s must be accompanied by an over-25 at a ratio of two under-18s to one over-25, and 0–2 year olds go free but still need a ticket.

The audience includes families, local Highland attendees and music fans who prefer eclectic programming. Family facilities include a kids’ area with crafts, workshops and games.

The Venue and Site

Belladrum Estate near Beauly, Inverness-shire, IV4 7BA is the festival site, with Belladrum Lodge A1 used as the main entrance. The site surface is a mixture of grass, tracks and permanent pathways.

Weekend tickets include camping from Thursday 0800 to Sunday 1300. General camping is included free as standard, with family, quiet, clean-fields, accessible camping and campervan areas, glamping, toilets and water points at all campsites.

Travel Information

Beauly Train Station is 3 miles from the festival site, and a shuttle bus is recommended. Belladrum Estate is near Beauly in Inverness-shire, about 11 miles west of Inverness and roughly 20 minutes from the city.

• From Inverness: use the A862 west from Inverness city centre to the A833.
• Alternative road route: use the A82 southwest of Inverness via Lochend and Drumnadrochit, then the A831 and A833.
• Main entrance: Belladrum Lodge A1.
• Pick-up and drop-off: the PUDO entrance is reached from the A833.
• Parking: pre-booked weekend and day parking passes are used, with separate green weekend and white day car parks. Accessible and blue-badge parking must be applied for in advance. Any leftover parking passes may be sold on the day for £25.
