16–18 July 2027, Beat-Herder Festival runs in Sawley, Gisburn, Lancashire, BB7 4LH as an independent electronic-music festival.

2006 was the first Beat-Herder, with 1,200 people and Toil Trees as the epicentre. The event has 90s free-party roots and a DIY, handmade site style.

Who Is It For?

18+ adult tickets are listed, and under-18s must attend with a responsible adult aged over 25.

One responsible adult can accompany up to two under-18s, and proof of age may be required. Youth ticket holders must be with their responsible adult after 9pm.

The festival is predominantly adult, with a dance/electronic-music and DIY/fancy-dress crowd; the FAQ says it is not a family festival.

The Venue and Site

BB7 4LH is the postcode for the festival site at the top of Sawley Brow on the A59 between Gisburn and Clitheroe.

The site includes Toil Trees, described as the birthplace of Beat-Herder, and The Ring, described as a bowl-o-rave with over 600 trees planted. The wider site has 16 additional areas, 14 bars, 40+ stalls and fairgrounds.

On-site camping is available, with separate camping and car-park fields, live-in vehicle areas, and glamping or pre-pitched accommodation. Facilities listed include cash machines, hot showers, lockers with mobile charging, composting toilets, a large children's area and accessible facilities with an essential companion scheme via Nimbus Access Card or Digital Access Pass.

Travel and Access

BB7 4LH places Beat-Herder Festival at the top of Sawley Brow on the A59 between Gisburn and Clitheroe.

• Rail: Clitheroe Railway Station is 6 miles away and Skipton is 14 miles away.
• Bus: the regular Stagecoach 280 bus passes the festival gates.
• Road: access is via the A59 at Sawley Brow, between Gisburn and Clitheroe.
• Drop-off and pick-up: the drop-off and pick-up point is just inside the site.
• Parking: paid car parking passes are required; advance purchase is cheaper, on-arrival passes cost more and may delay entry.
• Live-in vehicles: live-in vehicle passes sell out each year.
