The South
The South is a Norwegian rock group from Trondheim, Norway. The lineup includes Alexander Pettersen and Pål Brekkås, and the band is also associated with Terje Uv, Stian Lundberg, Stein Spjelkavik and Sander Stedenfeldt Olsen. Their sound is described as southern rock, with tags also linking them to screamo, stoner rock, psychedelic rock, blues and hard rock.

The band releases its debut album, A Place To Start, on MBN. A second album, also titled The South, follows on Universal Music Norway.
