Shy FX is the pseudonym of Andre Williams, a drum and bass musician from London, United Kingdom, born in 1977. He works in drum and bass, jungle and dubwise, and is associated with the labels Digital Soundboy and Ebony Recordings.

Career

He is best known for one of his early singles, “Original Nuttah”, released in 1994 with UK Apache. He also works closely with T-Power, both under the name Ebony Dubsters and as Shy-FX and T-Power. Their 2002 track “Shake Your Body”, featuring vocalist Di, crosses into the UK Singles Chart Top 40 and also achieves wider success across Europe.

Labels and projects

In 2005, he founds Digital Soundboy Recordings. In 2018, he founds Cult.ure, a London-based drum and bass and UK funky label.
