Mallory Knox

Mallory Knox is a British alternative rock and post-hardcore group that forms in late 2009. The band starts as a creative outlet for five members: Mikey, Sam, Joe, Dave and James. Based in the United Kingdom, they remain active from 2009 to the present.

Early development

After around three months of writing together, the band begins playing live shows and building a local following. Their early activity centres on developing a sound from the members’ different influences and establishing themselves in their local music scene.

Recordings and releases

Mallory Knox record their debut EP, Pilot, with Dan Lancaster at Studio Glasseye. The release strengthens their reputation and brings them wider attention within the industry. Their discography also includes Signals (2013) and Asymmetry (2014).

Management and touring

After signing with SGR Management, the band expands beyond their hometown base and tours across the country with Never Means Maybe. They are also endorsed by Rockstar Energy Drink.

Media and recognition

The video for “Oceans” reaches number 2 in the most requested Scuzz chart, adding to the band’s profile. Their early growth is marked by a rapid increase in audience and attention from the music industry.
