Dream Wife

Dream Wife is a British band formed by Rakel Mjöll, Alice Go and Bella Podpadec. The group begins in Brighton, where the three founding members meet while studying at art school, and it is based in London. The line-up includes Mjöll on lead vocals, Go on guitar and vocals, and Podpadec on bass and vocals; Alex Paveley plays drums from 2018.

Style and background

The band’s music combines punk rock, pop and indie rock. Its listed genres also include indie rock, post-punk and riot grrrl. Dream Wife is active from 2015 onwards.

Releases

Dream Wife releases its first self-titled EP through Cannibal Hymns in 2016. The band’s debut album, also self-titled, follows in 2018. In 2020, it releases the album So When You Gonna....
