One of UK's Largest Tribute Festivals Returns to Heaton Park

Festwich, one of the UK’s largest tribute festivals, will return to Heaton Park for its 13th year on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31. The festival will feature more than 30 top tribute acts across three live stages, and is expected to attract around 15,000 fans each day.

Headliners for this year's Festwich include popular tributes to Eminem, Coldplay, and Amy Winehouse, alongside other crowd favorites like Slipknot. Festival organiser Jools Taylor expressed excitement for the event, stating that Heaton Park provides the perfect backdrop for the festival.

New Acts and Venue

This year, Festwich will introduce new acts to keep the event fresh for attendees. The festival will cater to rock, grunge, and retro music lovers, with Saturday's lineup focusing on rock and grunge genres, while Sunday takes a more retro twist.

Tickets for Festwich are priced at £16 for adults, £10 for ages six to 17, and free for under-5s. Despite its large scale, the festival aims to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere with affordable prices for food and drinks. The event will also feature food stalls, beer tents, and thrill rides for all attendees.

Community and Accessibility

Over the years, Festwich has grown in popularity, attracting fans from across the country. Festival organiser Jools Taylor emphasized the importance of making the event accessible to everyone and keeping it family-oriented.

For those interested in attending Festwich, tickets are nearly sold out and can be purchased through the official Festwich website. With a promise of a diverse lineup and exciting performances, this year's festival is set to be one of the highlights of the summer music scene.
