Why this is a full-circle moment for BST Hyde Park

Bon Jovi opened the inaugural BST Hyde Park in 2013 with a set stacked with anthems, setting the tone for a festival that has since hosted everyone from The Rolling Stones to Taylor Swift. Fourteen years on, they return as the first name on the 2027 poster.

What kind of year have Bon Jovi had?

A big one. 2026 saw the band's much-anticipated return to the stage on the Forever Tour, including nine sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden, sold-out shows in Edinburgh and Dublin, and three sold-out nights at Wembley Stadium to close things out. Last year's FOREVER (Legendary Edition) also reworked the album's songs alongside guests including Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, Joe Elliott and Jelly Roll.

Who else is playing BST Hyde Park 2027?

Nobody yet. Bon Jovi are the first announcement, with more names for 2027 to be revealed soon. The festival is coming off a record-breaking 2026 season that featured Garth Brooks, ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi, so expect a mixed bag of heavyweights across the fortnight.
