Deer Shed Festival 2027 has sold 50% of its adult tickets nine months out, before a single act has been announced. The independent, family-run festival returns to Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire on 23–25 July 2027. Early bird and Tier 1 are sold out; Tier 2 adult tickets cost £219.45 including fees, or you can secure one for £34.35 on the October instalment plan.

Key details

  • Festival: Deer Shed Festival 2027 (17th edition)
  • Dates: Friday 23 – Sunday 25 July 2027
  • Location: Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 3BZ
  • Adult tickets: £219.45 (Tier 2, inc fees) – early bird and Tier 1 sold out
  • Instalments: secure an adult ticket for £34.35 on Kaboodle's October payment plan, available on every ticket type
  • Line-up: not yet announced

That's a quick sell-through for a 10,000-capacity festival that hasn't shown its hand yet. Then again, Deer Shed sold out its 15th anniversary in 2025 and followed it with a 16th year headlined by Sleaford Mods, Everything Everything and Say She She, so the regulars – "Deer Shedders", in festival parlance – are clearly buying on trust.

How much are Deer Shed 2027 tickets?

Adult pricing is tiered and the cheap tiers have gone. The ticket is identical whichever tier you buy – only the price moves, and it only ever moves upwards. Tiering applies to adult tickets only; kids', youth and camping prices stay put.

  • Adult early bird: £187.95 – sold out (frozen at 2026 prices)
  • Adult Tier 1: £208.95 – sold out
  • Adult Tier 2: £219.45 (inc £10.45 fee) – on sale now
  • Youth 16–17: £105
  • Youth 11–15 and child 6–10: £89.25
  • Child 3–5: £52.50
  • Child 0–2: free (ticket still required)
  • General camping: free with every weekend ticket, no tent size limit
  • Car parking: £26.25 per car (not needed with a campervan ticket)
  • Campervan / caravan / trailer tent: £105 with parking included; 16A electric hook-up £138.60 on top

Kids' and youth tickets must be bought alongside an adult ticket, and Camping Plus upgrades have already sold out. There are no day tickets – Deer Shed wants you for the whole weekend – and tickets are sent electronically.

How does the Deer Shed instalment plan work?

Deer Shed's ticketing partner for 2027 is Kaboodle, and its payment plan is refreshingly simple. Whatever you put in your basket – adult, kids', campervan, parking – you can pay in full or split the total into monthly payments over up to ten months. Book on the October plan and you secure an adult ticket for £34.35 today, with the balance spread across the months before the festival.

That's the case for booking now rather than later. Prices rise with each tier, and every month you wait is one fewer month to spread the cost over.

Can you get Deer Shed tickets cheaper?

Two routes. Join the festival's ambassador scheme to save money on tickets, or volunteer and come for free in exchange for shifts on site. Both are worth a look if the Tier 2 price is a stretch.

When and where is Deer Shed Festival 2027?

Deer Shed runs Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July 2027 at Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire (YO7 3BZ), an 18th-century landscaped country park a few minutes from the A1 and A19 – one of the easier festival sites in the North to reach by car.

It's an all-ages event: under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over, and there's a limit of ten tickets per transaction.

Why is Deer Shed selling so fast?

Track record, mostly. Voted Festival of the Year at the 2023 LIVE Awards, Deer Shed is family-owned, fully independent and has spent 16 years treating the kids' programme and the music bill with equal seriousness.

The 2026 edition, themed Into the Labyrinth, put Sleaford Mods, Everything Everything and Say She She on the main stage, with Fat Dog and The Twilight Sad as special guests and a comedy bill topped by Stewart Lee and Adam Buxton. Beyond the stages there are 80-plus workshops, science tents, sport, theatre, cinema and the Wilderwild woodland retreat with saunas, cold plunges and wild swimming.

Organisers also froze 2027 early bird prices at 2026 levels, which goes a long way to explaining why the first two tiers vanished.

Who's playing Deer Shed 2027?

No acts have been announced for 2027 yet. Half the adult allocation going before the first line-up reveal says a lot about how much faith the crowd has in the booking. We'll update this page the moment the first wave lands.

If Deer Shed is on your 2027 list, the maths is simple: the cheapest tiers are gone, the next rise is coming and the payment plan gets less useful every month you wait. Lock in an adult ticket on the instalment plan, or see every ticket type on the official Deer Shed tickets page.
