Radio 1's Big Weekend Line Up Announced

Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas and Ellie Goulding playing on Saturday. My Chemical Romance, Wombats, Ollie Murs announced for Sunday

The line up for the main stages of this years Radio 1's Big Weekend, which will take place in Carlisle Airport on the 14th -15th May 2011, was announced this morning.  The Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Chase and Status all play on Saturday while My Chemical Romance, Ollie Murs, Bruno Mars, Wombats, Professor Green, Katy B, The Script and Taio Cruz play on Sunday.

Tickets are not yet available but it will be announced how to apply for one the precious 40,000 on the Chris Moyles show tomorrow from 6pm. 

Apparently there is still one act for the main stage yet to be announced and this will be revealed later today on the Fearne Cotton show on Radio 1, lineups for the other stages will be announced at a later time - we will keep you posted!!
