Olly Murs
Olly Murs is an English singer-songwriter from Witham, United Kingdom. Born in 1984, he is associated with dance-pop, electro, europop and pop, and is also linked to Band Aid 30.
Career
Murs finishes second in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009. In early 2010, he signs to Syco Music and Epic Records, both owned by Sony Music. After touring with the X Factor Finalists tour, he begins recording his debut album.
His debut single, “Please Don't Let Me Go”, reaches number one on the UK Singles Chart. His second official single, “Thinking of Me”, reaches number four on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album, Olly Murs, then reaches number two on the UK Albums Chart.
