Historic Royal Palaces and IMG are thrilled to announce details of this summer’s Hampton Court Palace Festival, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The event is a highlight on the UK festival calendar running from Thursday 8th –  Saturday 24th June 2017. Taking place in Base Court, one of the stunning Tudor Courtyards Bryan Ferry, James Morrison, Jools Holland, Rick Astley, Björn Again and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra are among the acts so far confirmed to perform in this year’s summer festival.

Bringing world-class acts to a spectacular setting, Hampton Court Palace Festival gives its guests a truly memorable and unique experience. Artists will perform to a beautiful backdrop in Henry VIII’s open air Base Court for an intimate audience of 3,000. The East Front Gardens provides festival-goers with the perfect place to relax, drink and picnic, before taking their seats for the evening’s entertainment.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the prestigious event, Bryan Ferry will perform on Wednesday 21st June. He remains one of the most iconic and innovative singers in popular music, with guests being treated to classic hits from the Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music back catalogue. He was also made a CBE in 2011 for his contribution to the British music industry, his show will be one not to miss.

Brit Award winner James Morrison will be performing on Thursday 8th June. James has become one of the biggest-selling male solo artists in the UK after a series of chart-topping hits, including the unforgettable ‘You Give Me Something’. Fresh from his sold out UK tour, the soulful voiced singer-songwriter will treat his audience to songs from his latest album ‘Awakening’, which has already gone platinum, as well as fan-favourite hits.

Direct from his sold-out UK tour, Rick Astley will also take to the Hampton Court Palace Festival stage. With over 40 million records sold across his career so far, he was the first male solo artist to see his initial 8 singles reach the UK Top Ten. Rick returned to the music scene in 2016 with a bang and his latest album, ‘50’ went straight to number one in the charts.

King of boogie woogie and internationally renowned pianist, Jools Holland, accompanied by his fantastic Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, are guaranteed to put on an energy-fuelled show. Awarded an OBE in 2003 for his services to the British music industry, his incredible success has seen him sell millions of records throughout his career. With his music show ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ now in its 49th series, Jools’ name has become synonymous with quality music.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will be joining us on Saturday 24th June for a night of Fanfare & Fireworks. Performing scores from the mainstream masters of classical music, enjoy an evening of breathtakingly beautiful music against the backdrop of the Tudor courtyard. After the concert, festival-goers will get to experience a glorious fireworks display over the Palace.

BJÖRN AGAIN are set to bring a sensational show to Hampton Court Palace Festival on Saturday 17th June, filled with much-loved ABBA songs and 70s fun. The internationally acclaimed show has performed in 71 countries over 28 years, amassing 5,000 performances and is acknowledged for initiating the ABBA revival. Tickets will be available from Friday 10th February.
