Tulleys Christmas Light Festival returns to Tulleys Farm in Crawley, West Sussex on selected evenings from 27 November to 30 December 2026, and it's growing. The headline addition is The Alpine Valley, a brand-new land the organisers call their biggest expansion since the festival launched, joined by two more new attractions: The Fallen Star and a Vintage Carousel.
What is The Alpine Valley at Tulleys Christmas Light Festival 2026?
The Alpine Valley is a whole new area of the site rather than a single installation. Think winding footpaths, wooden bridges and a mountain-village landscape of still ponds and running streams, lit up with large-scale illuminations and festive scenes.
It's the team behind Shocktober Fest doing what Tulleys does best: building something big and theatrical, then letting you get lost in it. There's no set route here. You wander wherever the lights pull you and stumble on moments tucked away in the woodland.
What else is new for 2026?
The Fallen Star
Deep in the woods, a giant star lies where it came to rest, ringed by shimmering lights and a pool of reflections. It's pitched as the festival's spot for Christmas wishes, so expect a photo queue.
The Vintage Carousel
A classic fairground ride joins the line-up alongside the returning Observation Wheel, which gives you a view across the glowing forest from above the treeline.
What's at Tulleys Christmas Light Festival?
Beyond the new lands, the festival bills itself as the UK's number one light festival and fills the evening with more than trails:
- Award-winning light trails and shows
- Two live music stages
- Stilt walkers and street theatre
- Observation Wheel and Vintage Carousel
- Christmas Market stalls
- Festive street food, coffee houses and bars
- Marshmallow and cheese toasting at the fire pits
- VIP Après Club with DJ and cocktail bar (VIP tickets only)
When is Tulleys Christmas Light Festival 2026?
The festival runs on selected evenings from Friday 27 November to Wednesday 30 December 2026, generally 4pm to 10pm, with a few nights stretching to 10.30pm. Opening night on 27 November is press night with limited public tickets.
It's closed on 24, 25 and 26 December and finishes on 30 December, so there's no New Year's Eve session. Entry times are staggered, but once you're in you can stay all evening.
