One Love / One Sun Festival returns to Bentley Estate, near Lewes, East Sussex on 20–22 August 2027 – and year two comes with real changes. New non-camping local day tickets start at £35, campervan passes drop to £60, a Lewes shuttle is in the works, and the first 2027 artists will be announced in two weeks.

The independent reggae and electronic festival made its Bentley debut in August 2026. Rather than supersize the event, organiser Dan Wiltshire says the plan for 2027 is simple: keep what worked, listen to the feedback and fix what didn't.

What's new for 2027?

Day tickets for locals who don't want to camp

The headline change is a pair of non-camping local day tickets – £35 for Friday and £45 for Saturday – aimed squarely at Lewes and the surrounding villages. The idea: come over for the afternoon, eat Caribbean food, sink a rum punch, catch the headliner and get home to your own bed.

To make that work, the 2027 programme is being built so the main headline set finishes at around 11pm. Organisers are also in talks about a shuttle bus between Lewes and Bentley Estate, running through the day and into the evening. It isn't confirmed yet – Wiltshire is clear they won't promise it until it is – but that's the target.

Cheaper campervan passes

Campervan visitors gave plenty of feedback after the first Bentley edition, and the festival has acted on it. A Campervan Pass now costs £60 for the whole weekend with no additional parking charge. "We're not pretending everything was perfect," Wiltshire says. "What matters is that when people tell us something, we actually do something about it."

Cash, card and no £9 pints

Plenty of festivals are going cashless. One Love / One Sun is deliberately going the other way. Both cash and card will be accepted in 2027, and independent traders stay independent – a stance Wiltshire says was sharpened when a sales pitch for a centralised festival payment system landed in the inbox.

He's equally blunt on drinks. The festival intends to keep an affordable bar rather than accept £8 and £9 pints as the new normal. "There has to be a balance," he says. "We don't want to build it by squeezing every last pound out of the people who make the festival possible."

What is One Love / One Sun?

Two festivals sharing one woodland home. One Love is the reggae side – roots, dub, singers, selectors and traditional sound-system culture. One Sun hides in the woods with ambient, dub, leftfield electronic, acid, jungle and drum & bass, transformed after dark with lighting and projections.

Around the music there's Caribbean food, rum punch, independent traders, live art, wellbeing and healing spaces, family activities and camping – plus the Bentley Miniature Railway, which becomes the Train to Skaville for the weekend.

When is the One Love / One Sun 2027 line-up announced?

Not yet – and that's deliberate. The £100 Weekend Loyalty Ticket was released before any names so that people who came to the first Bentley edition could lock in the cheapest price. That window runs for two more weeks; the price then goes up and the first 2027 artists are announced straight afterwards. Wiltshire says there are "some very interesting conversations happening" – and nothing more for now.
