Lost Village 2016

Hot the heels of their second sold-out year, the boundary pushing immersive forest festival has announced that it will be moving to the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 24th – 27th) in 2017. Earlybird tickets went on sale last Friday, and sold out in just 2 days.

Much more than a music festival, Lost Village is an immersive experience that see’s thrill-seekers step into a long forgotten forest, inhabited by a legion of unusual beings; a surreal dreamscape where anything is possible. Navigating between areas such as the Forgotten Cabin, Abandoned Chapel and Burial Ground, revelers embark on a paranormal world that engulfs them in otherworldly experiences and an ever-evolving story, which they too, become part of.

Presenting a spectacular line-up of cutting edge artists, bands, comedians, speakers and chefs within such an innovative context has seen Lost Village’s popularity soar since its debut in 2015, however those behind the event remain committed to its intimate ethos, safeguarding the community spirit that is such a key part of the Lost Village experience. This feeling of unity is further perpetuated by the distinctly tribal aesthetic that runs throughout the woods and those who enter.

Lost Village also has a strong focus on exceptional eating; from hand-picked global street food to ceremonious Tribal Banquets, catered by world-class chefs such as Michael O’Hare and Lee Westcott. Further to this, the festival hosts an incredible selection of comedy at the Lost Theatre, crafting and workshops in a corner of the forest known as Forger’s Lane, insightful talks at the Institute of Curious Minds and relaxation, hot tubs and holistic therapies at the Lake of Tranquility.

The Lost Village 2016 Aftermovie has just been unveiled, which captured the magic of the 2016 edition, in all its kaleidoscopic glory. Check it out here: (https://youtu.be/UuAEzWZuEU4)
