Shania Twain will headline State Fayre 2027, playing the Saturday night (19 June 2027) at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex. She's the first of three headliners for the country, Americana and BBQ festival, which runs 18 to 20 June 2027. Weekend and Saturday day tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday 6 November 2026.

Shania Twain headlines State Fayre 2027

For a festival that only debuted this summer, landing one of the best-selling artists of all time as its opening 2027 announcement is a serious statement of intent. Shania is no stranger to a field full of people who know every word, and State Fayre is built for exactly that kind of crowd.

Expect a set packed with the songs that defined late-90s pop radio: 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman!', 'That Don't Impress Me Much' and 'You're Still the One'. She'll also be bringing material from 'Little Miss Twain', her 2026 album that leans back into the country roots that made her.

Shania said: "We all know I love the UK and my UK fans are the best. Last summer everyone said that State Fayre was a blast so I can't wait to experience it for myself and it's an honour to headline, of course!"

What is State Fayre?

State Fayre is a music and BBQ festival inspired by American state fairs, tailgate parties and long summer nights. Its first edition in 2026 drew more than 50,000 people to Hylands Park and picked up strong reviews, with Metro giving it five stars and Essex Live calling it the festival the county had been missing for over a decade.

Organisers Anna-Sophie Mertens and Alex Simmonds said Shania is "the perfect fit for what State Fayre is all about", and confirmed that two more headliners and the wider line-up are still to come.

When do State Fayre 2027 tickets go on sale?

Early bird tickets have already sold out. The first wave of Weekend and Saturday day tickets is released in three stages this week:

  • Live Nation / Ticketmaster presale (limited): 9am, Thursday 5 November 2026
  • General sale: 9am, Friday 6 November 2026
