About Wildfire
Wildfire 2027 brings a rock and metal music bill to Wanlockhead Inn, Biggar, in Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village.
The event traces its origin to Les-Fest at Valley International Park near Lesmahagow in 2012. The Wildfire name appears in the official history by 2015.
Tickets list a £100 weekend pass and £40 Friday, Saturday and Sunday day passes. The weekend pass includes camping.
Lineup and Programme
The programme centres on live rock and metal performances.
Wildfire’s history lists the Main Stage, Incendium Stage, Infernus Stage, Horrorfly Stage, CackBlabbath/RACPA Stage, Metal Angels Stage and Rock For Funds Stage.
Who Is It For?
Wildfire’s ticketing points to an adult-leaning rock and metal crowd: adult weekend passes are 16+ only, while under-16s receive free entry.
A 2021 Rockfiend review described a largely mature crowd with some younger attendees. Dogs are welcome on site.
The Venue and Site
The Wanlockhead Inn anchors the site, with stages split between an outdoor marquee and the interior of the Inn.
Camping sits about 300m from the Main Stage. Cars, campers and caravans use hard ground behind the tent pitches.
Food vendors run in the main arena, with licensed bars by the main stages. Disabled access covers the campsite and main arenas, with disabled-access toilets; caravan and motorhome pitches have no electricity, and there are no cash machines on site.
