About Eden Festival
After seven years as the Eden Zone within Wickerman, Eden Festival 2027 returns to Raehill's Estate, Lockerbie as an independent, not-for-profit music festival with folk, soul and electronica running through the bill.
The standalone festival began in 2009. More than 90% of its stages and venues are hand-built permanent fixtures or stored onsite, and reusable eco cups have run across all bars since 2014.
The official site describes Eden as family-friendly and community-oriented, with no single-use plastics or glass on site.
Lineup and Programme
It is a multi-stage site. Stages include Great Mountain, Rabbie's Tavern, The Boardwalk, The Bodega, The Melodrome Theatre, The Garden, Kids Field, Woodland Area and Ghilli Dhu Dance Emporium.
Genres across the bill run through folk, soul, electronica, jazz, rockabilly, world, reggae, dance, electronic, celtic, traditional, country, bluegrass and spoken word.
Beyond live music, the programme includes kids crafts, messy play, circus skills, treasure hunts, parades, a solar-powered cinema, yoga, dance, drumming, massage, mindfulness, Qi Gong, cabaret, comedy, theatre, food stalls and bars.
Who Is It For?
Eden's audience is mixed-age, with dedicated kids and family activity areas alongside camping and wellness sessions.
Under-18s need an over-21 ticket-holding parent or guardian. Challenge 25 operates on the gates and bars, and the same accompaniment rule covers children aged 12 and under and teens aged 13 to 17.
The Venue and Site
Raehill's Estate puts the festival in wooded parkland outside Lockerbie. The site layout includes a central Kids Field, multiple small stages and a cycle-powered stage.
Camping comes with every festival ticket; live-in vehicle areas, accessible live-ins and glamping with bell tents and yurts use additional tickets. Showers run at the general campsite, with dedicated showers and toilets for glamping guests.
An accessible campsite and car park sit next to the main arena. Accessible toilets are placed at the main areas and campsite, with phone-charging stalls, lockers, a corner shop, first aiders, an ambulance team and 24-hour welfare onsite.
