The Great British Alternative Music Festival

The Great British Alternative Music Festival is held at Butlins in Skegness and is a weekend packed full of punk, ska and new wave bands. Big names will be playing headline performances such as Stiff Little Fingers and The Buzzcocks and there is also an Introducing Stage for up-and-coming bands.

Butlins Skegness
As the event is taking place at the Butlins holiday resort in Skegness, there is a wide variety of accomodation options on-site.
At Skegness there is a range of apartments and rooms to choose from.
Car
Butlins Skegness is relatively easy to find. Simply follow the A52 that runs from Skegness to Mablethorpe and you will find the resort just 3 miles from the town centre and it is extremely well signposted. The main entrance to the resort is located to the right of the A52 Ingoldmells. All the parking at resorts is completely free.
Train
The railway station closest to the resort is Skegness and there is a bus service that runs between the resort and the station.
Coach
If you book a coach through National Express, it will take you to either the resort's main entrance or the specialised coach park.
DINING PLANS
As the event takes place at Butlins, there are a range of dining plans to choose from.
Breakfast Only
The Breakfast Only plan aims to be convenient. It is served at the Food Court Restaurant and offers everything from traditional breakfast food to fruit and croissants. It is served until 10 am so there is no rush in the morning.
Food Court Dining
The Food Court Dining plan gives you a buffet style dining for meals at breakfast and dinner. You can enjoy a tasty Full English, or opt for a full 3 course dining experience instead.
Premium Dining
The Premium Dining plan features food served at The Yacht Club and The Deck and provides you with a buffet style restaurant. As an added bonus there are also food stations where the chefs will make dishes to order for you.

There are a wide range of restuarants on-site, offering various different cuisines to suite your particular tastes and preferences.
