About Stockton Calling

Stockton Calling 2027 takes over Stockton-on-Tees on Saturday 27 March as a town-centre music festival built around indie, rock, punk and alternative.

The festival has been running since 2010. ARC’s 2025 coverage of the 2026 edition put the scale at 8 venues, 60+ artists and around 2,000 music fans per day.

It is a one-day crawl. Rather than a single fenced arena, the site runs through Stockton town centre, with compact rooms sitting alongside larger participating venues.

Lineup and Programme

Announced acts include Hard Fi at 9.00pm, SOAPBOX at 9.15pm, Gurriers at 9.30pm, Young Rebel Set at 10.00pm, Cortney Dixon, The Molotovs at 10.30pm and Cruz at 8.15pm.

The current venue pages list ARC, ARC 2, The Georgian Theatre, KU Stockton, The Link, The Green Room and The Social Room. The Green Room is billed as a micro-venue, while The Social Room has a 200-capacity room.

The programme is built around live sets across multiple town-centre venues in one day.

The audience is a broad live-music crowd. Official copy aims Stockton Calling at the sonically curious, including seasoned festival-goers and first-timers, while ARC has noted growing interest from younger audiences.
