Pearly Gates is a soul, pop, disco, Hi-NRG and dance singer from Alabama, United States, born in 1946. She begins her music career in 1973 and is also a member of the soul group The Flirtations.

Her recorded work includes the songs “Action”, “Third Time Lucky”, “No Two Ways About It”, “Fading Into The Night”, “One Less Bell To Ring” and “The Race Is On”. Other titles associated with her include “One Time Too Many” and “Stop For Love”.

Gates also releases the 2010 album On A Winning Streak, which follows the success of her soul and disco recordings. Two of her songs, “For Crying Out Loud” and “Days In New York.”, appear on Ian Levine-produced compilations titled Northern Soul 2007 and Disco 2008.
