Sounds From the Other City festival (SFTOC) unites the vest of the new talent both national and international alongside some of the city's finest independent promoters and club nights.

Every year on May Day Bank Holiday the Chapel St corridor of the city of Salford come's to life after years of training.

2016 if the years 12th instalment and is set to happen on Sunday 1st May 2016 with announcements about line-ups and promoters involved to be made later in the year. Keep your eyes out as if 2015's festival is anything to go by it's going to be great, as 2015 saw Jane Weaver,Ex-Easter Island Head and BBC Philharmonic Ensemble and D/R/U/G/S perform.
