Quest Festival 2026 in Wolverhampton continues a power, progressive and heavy metal event founded in 2016 by Amie and Gemma from Dakesis.

The festival says it was relaunched in 2025 as Quest Fest. Its format combines live metal with TTRPG, gaming activity and festival stalls across an all-day programme.

Quest Fest describes itself as the UK's only all-day fantasy festival dedicated to power, prog and heavy metal, TTRPG, gaming and more.

Who Is It For?

The audience skews adult and metal-focused, with the fantasy and gaming side built into the same day rather than treated as a separate fringe.

Entry is 16+. Under-18s may attend with an accompanying adult aged 18 or over, and KK's Steel Mill uses a Think 25 policy for alcohol sales.

KK's Steel Mill sits at Star Works/Frederick Street, Wolverhampton WV2 4DU. The venue says the building dates to 1903.

Its listed formats run at 550, 1,100 and up to 2,000 capacity, with a 200-capacity lounge. Facilities include level access, accessible toilets, an accessible viewing platform, free essential companion tickets, a food/snack bar, cloakroom and cash, card and contactless payment options.

The Gaming Dungeon runs retro gaming from 3pm to 8pm, alongside tabletop skirmishes.
