2016 is a big year for celebrating punk music and the Punk London Weekender is organised for 9th and 10th July. It is taking over the Roundhouse in London and it is part of a year long celebration of live music, exhibitions and events commemorating 40 years’ of the ever present influence of punk on society, the arts and much more.

As yet there have been no dates confirmed but the festival has been organised to specifically commemorate the Ramones seminal Roundhouse gig in July 1976 and the festival hopes to emulate the spirit and the energy of the original event.
