Founded in 1988, London International Ska Festival reaches its 39th anniversary edition in 2027. The run is three days. It runs 25–27 March in Camden, with Electric Ballroom on Camden High Street as its venue. The music festival’s lane is ska, rocksteady, reggae, 2 Tone, punk, new wave and dub.

Who Is It For?

The audience is drawn from ska, rocksteady, reggae and 2 Tone fans, with vinyl buyers and Camden regulars in the mix. Vinyl matters here. The festival also runs social-club and record-shop events.

Electric Ballroom live shows are 14+. Anyone aged 14 or 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over; club nights are 18+.

The Venue and Site

Electric Ballroom anchors the festival at 184 Camden High Street, London NW1 8QP. Capacity is up to 1,500 guests. The site is club-scale.

Facilities include a cloakroom, wheelchair access, accessible tickets, an accessible balcony seating area, a disabled toilet and a designated outdoor smoking area.
