About Plumpton Revival
Plumpton Racecourse hosted festival bills in 1969 and 1970; Plumpton Revival 2027 runs at Plumpton Racecourse, Lewes, East Sussex as a music festival built around blues, rock, soul, Motown and roots.
The 2027 edition runs 7–8 August, with the campsite open from Friday 6 August to Monday 9 August. Plumpton Revival first opened its gates in 2026.
Lineup and Programme
The early bill leans across blues, rock, soul, Motown and roots. Announced acts include Deborah Bonham, Dan Patlansky, Ben Poole, Laura Evans, Hokum & Hooch, Kozmic Pearl and The Whiskey Flowers.
The arena is listed with a Main Stage, Second Stage and Comedy Tent. Beyond live music, the programme takes in comedy, festival cinema, circus performances, vintage and artisan markets, retro funfair rides and walkabout performers.
Who Is It For?
The audience is mixed-age and family-friendly, with strongest appeal to blues, roots, rock, soul and Motown fans. The revival angle also points toward people drawn to 1960s and 1970s festival culture.
Family programming includes workshops and activities suitable for children and teens. Under-5 weekend tickets are listed at £0.
The Venue and Site
The racecourse site sits between Lewes and Haywards Heath. On-site camping covers tents and campervans; campervan pitches with power hookup are listed.
Every person staying on site needs a camping ticket, with a separate campervan ticket required for campervan pitches. Camping areas have free showers and toilets.
VIP upgrades add covered grandstand seating, a private bar, plumbed-in flushing toilets and fast-track entry. Food and drink traders include vegetarian and vegan options.
