At 500 capacity, Live in Loch Goil Festival 2027 brings acoustic, folk and world music to Lochgoilhead Village Hall, PA24 8AQ.

The event runs from 30 Apr 2027 to 02 May 2027. The first tracked edition dates to 2023, with 2026 described as the fourth festival.

Lineup and Programme

Two undercover stages shape the programme. The Main Stage sits in the Marquee, while the Acoustic Stage runs in the Hall.

The bill leans into acoustic, folk and world music. Alongside the live sets are local food and drink plus outdoor activities.

Who Is It For?

Families are part of the brief. Under-18s can attend with a responsible adult over 18.

One adult can supervise up to four children under 18, and Challenge 25 applies at the bars. The audience is mixed-age, drawing local and visitor crowds.

The Venue and Site

Loch Goil and Loch Lomond & the Trossachs give the site its setting. The festival works from a village-hall site with two undercover stages.

Facilities include licensed bars, cashless food outlets and seating areas. Both stages are accessible for wheelchairs and buggies, and the Village Hall has an accessible WC.

There is no camping on site; campervan parking is mentioned nearby, without hook-up or waste-disposal facilities.

Lochgoilhead sits in Argyll and Bute, 33 miles north-west of Glasgow and 68 miles west of Edinburgh.

• Road: Access is via the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful, then the B828 to Lochgoilhead.
• Local access: Hall Road is local access only.
• Parking: There is no on-site parking; visitors are directed to the main village car park across from the Post Office.
