Formerly known as Otley Black Sheep Folk Festival, this event is one which attracts local talent and celebrates local music and arts. Started back in 1992 it has a warm family friendly feel with events across the market town of Wharfedale. Picturesque surrounding help to create a great festival atmosphere.

2015 marks the 23rd Otley Folk Festival and it runs from 18th until 20th September. Acts confirmed include New Rope String Band, Coope Boyes & Simpson, O'Hooley & Tidow, Allan Taylor, Flossie Mallavialle, PlumHall, Duncan McFarlane Band, Mic & Susie Darling, Dave Vermond, The Hall Brothers, Jon Palmer Band, and Yan Tan Tether, with more still to be announced.
