About Lakefest

At 5,000 daily capacity, Lakefest 2027 runs at Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire, as a rock-led music festival with pop, dance/electronic, house, reggae, country and indie also on the bill.

It launched in 2011. The festival history page traces the pre-Lakefest brand to Wuzels Cider Fest.

Lineup and Programme

The published 2027 scale is 12 stages and over 400 artists. Named stages include Abbey Main Stage, Funkytown, Retrospective of House, The Cheshire Cat Club, VIP Stage and Road to Lakefest Stage.

The programme spans live music, workshops and themed entertainment, with bingo sessions also listed through Road to Lakefest. Kids-area arts and crafts sit outside the main stage run.

Who Is It For?

Lakefest is framed around family and multi-generational attendance. Children 12 and under have free entry for the 2027 edition.

Under-18s must be accompanied throughout the festival, including campsites, by a responsible adult aged over 25. The maximum is three under-18s per adult, and Challenge 25 applies for alcohol sales.

The Venue and Site

Eastnor Castle Deer Park puts the site in the Malvern Hills area. Weekend tickets include camping and showers.

Camping options listed include family, general, fun and accessible camping, plus glamping, bell tents and live-in vehicle upgrades. Facilities include toilets, accessible toilets, accessible showers, an accessible car park, an access campsite office, a charging tent, water points and waste disposal.

The VIP Village lists premium washrooms. Food and drink areas, children’s activities and fairground rides are also listed on site.

Travel to Lakefest

Lakefest uses Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Herefordshire, with rail access through nearby Ledbury and road approaches from the M5 and M50.

• Rail: Ledbury railway station is 2 miles from Eastnor Castle Deer Park.
• Other stations: Colwall is around 10 minutes by car or taxi, while Great Malvern and Malvern Link are around 20 minutes by taxi.
• Further rail: Cheltenham Spa is around 30-40 minutes by taxi.
• Road: Access is listed via M5 junction 7, then the A449 towards Malvern and Ledbury, or via M5 junction 8, M50 junction 2 and the A417 towards Ledbury.
• Parking: General parking is included with the ticket and uses the main car park; the tickets page also lists a separate £9.99 car pass extra.

Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford are each about 30 minutes by road. Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff are each about 1 hour by road.
