About Keswick Mountain Festival
Crow Park, Keswick, is the lakeside base for Keswick Mountain Festival 2027, a multi-sport outdoor event with live music. The 2027 edition runs 21–23 May, from 12 noon on Friday to 5 pm on Sunday. The format is broader than a gig. It began in 2007, and Keswick.org reported around 15,000 people for the 2024 return after a year’s break.
Lineup and Programme
The music programme runs across two live-music stages, the Open air stage and The hangout. Announced acts include Norman Jay MBE, High Fade, Bez Toi Sett, Stee Foxes, State of Satta and Thieving Magpies.
The bill is not music-only. Sports listed for the event include trail running, cycle sportives, triathlon, open-water swimming, hikes and an adventure race. Daytime Tent Talks sit alongside the evening music, with town-centre fringe activity covering live music, theatre and film.
Who Is It For?
The audience runs from competitors to spectators, with trail runners, cyclists, swimmers, hikers and adventure-race entrants among the named groups. Families are part of the brief. Selected events use age brackets including 10+, 12–17 and 15–17 with parental permission.
The festival village is free to enter during the day. Evening music requires a ticket after 5 pm.
The Venue and Site
Derwentwater is the physical anchor. The festival village sits by the lake at Crow Park, Keswick, CA12 5DJ, with the main entrance listed at ///presides.stops.pavilions.
Facilities include food, drink and exhibitor areas. Bag drop and race-pack collection are listed, along with water refill points and a reusable cup and glass policy. Camping and campervan options are at Springs Farm, with campervan overspill at Keswick Pencil Factory, and the accessibility zone includes a Mobiloo toilet and changing room.
