About EskFest
At Eskdale Festival Field next to The Woolpack Inn in Cumbria, EskFest 2027 runs as an independent off-grid music and arts festival from 8–10 July 2027.
The story starts in late 2015, when founder Tom Smith asked friends and family to help start a festival in Eskdale Valley. The 2027 ticket page describes EskFest as leading up to its 11th year.
It stays small. Vendor information gives a 1,500 footfall, with the site set in a remote Lake District location at the foot of Scafell Pike.
Lineup and Programme
The programme runs across four stages, with 60+ bands and artists and 30+ workshops listed for EskFest 2027.
The music brief takes in acoustic, alternative, electronic, indie and rock. Arts programming and workshops sit alongside the live bill.
Who Is It For?
EskFest is an all-ages micro-festival with a mixed audience of families and younger festival-goers.
Children are explicitly welcomed. Under-16s must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
The Venue and Site
The site is Eskdale Festival Field next to The Woolpack Inn, Holmrook, Cumbria, CA19 1TH, with The Woolpack Inn listed as the closest address.
The camping field sits adjacent to the main arena, with toilets and water on the camping field. Glamping tipis and campervan pitches are listed, and the campsite has no showers.
Food stalls and bars are part of the site. A valley shuttle bus is also listed for the festival.
