Homegrown is back for its fifth year in 2016 and it is returning to The Met and Castle Armoury Drill Hall in Bury, Lancashire. This is a festival with folk music at its core and this year’s event has been organised for 13th until 15th October.
Homegrown has been organised and run in partnership with the English Folk Dance and Song Society and the English Folk Expo and over 100 music industry delegates make their way to the festival in Bury.
The line-up for 2016 includes Turin Brakes, Michael McGoldrick, James Delarre, Saul Rose, Megson, O’Hooley and Tidow, The Ukelele Orchester of Great Britain, Moulettes, Heg and The Wolf Circus, Jim Causley Trio, Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage, Steeleye Span and many more.
