Grand Northern Ukulele Festival

In its third year the Grand Northern Ukulele Festival offer three full days of ukulele-themed musical fun, concerts and more. In 2015 the festival has grown bigger even than before and remains one of the largest celebrations of the ukulele over 2 days that Europe has ever seen.
There are a wide range of confirmed acts for the festival which takes place at the end of May, including Sarah Maisel, The Quiet American, Craig Chee, Phil Doleman, Zoë Bestel, Dead Mans Uke, Mersey Belles, Chonkinfeckle, Manitoba Hal, Feckless & Fuddle, Ric McCormick, Kris Ball, Ukulele Allsorts, Benjamyn Rees, Professor Eek, Francesco Albertazzi and Adam Franklin.
Alongside the live music there are plenty of opportunities for amateurs to give the instrument a go and local businesses will be selling their wares on-site too.
