About GlastonBARRY Tribute Festival
Romilly Park in Barry, CF62 6RN, is the site for GlastonBARRY Tribute Festival 2027, an 18+ tribute music programme. The first GlastonBARRY Live Music Festival was staged at the MEMO Arts Centre in Barry in 2013, and the event moved to Romilly Park with a marquee in 2014.
Scale is around 6,000 guests per day. Vale of Glamorgan council papers in 2025 described GlastonBARRY as being in its 12th year of operation and proposed a five-year licence for Romilly Park through the end of July 2029.
Lineup and Programme
The bill runs through pop, rock, indie, soul and reggae tribute sets. Two stages are listed.
The main stage sits inside the covered Big Top circus tent, with an outdoor field stage elsewhere on the site. The Big Top capacity is 6,000.
The programme centres on tribute performances across the weekend. Food vendors, licensed bars and a bar/token system are part of the arena operation.
Who Is It For?
The main festival is strictly 18+, with ID checks possible and Challenge 25 in operation. Under-18s are excluded.
The audience is described as an adult tribute-festival crowd, mostly standing and singalong in format. VIP seating is available, along with an accessibility viewing area.
The Venue and Site
Romilly Park, Barry anchors the site in the Vale of Glamorgan, with access via Broad Street and Romilly Park Road. The official festival site places the park roughly 100m from Barry train station; council park information lists Barry Town station about 500m away.
